Would love to hear your thoughts on Trick Mirror. Right now I'm just so fascinated with the fact it was written during the first administration and that feels so warped in a weird way? Like, it's so weird to hear the hot takes from that time, and compare them to today. And thanks for the zine note...it was a real beast and I want to write about it. AND OMG I was reading your most recent newsletter today OMG it's marvelous. Thanks for your writing (but I also know you do it because you love it and you're compelled to write ;) ).
wow yes indeed, what a portal through time it must be! there is an essay in there about UVA (where i also went) and it cut my heart in half (and i want to be Jia Tolentino and i feel like since we both went to UVA, are the same in that way, i could have i guess and what have i done with my life and ????).

Vanessa, you had me laughing again! I loved reading this and I feel very invested in what happens next. LOVE the trinkets, their branding (“Murder Mix” is freaking brilliant 🤌🏻), the whole concept. And now I, too, want to feed crows and have them leave me treasure!
